SwiftKey releases Japanese keyboard in beta

Posted In NEWS - By DailyNews on Thursday, May 15th, 2014 With No Comments »

SwiftKey is my all-time favorite Android keyboard and the one that I use 99 percent of the time. It includes support for several languages, but Japanese is one that hasn’t been added quite yet. However, SwiftKey has been working on Japanese support for quite some time, and the fruit of its labor is finally available to the public in the form of SwiftKey Japanese beta.

The beta keyboard has both Japanese and English input, allowing you to easily switch between the two languages. The Japanese beta will support many of SwiftKey’s existing features, including personalized word prediction, emoji prediction and more. It also includes integration with Yoh Okuno, a Japanese cloud-based prediction system.

If you want to give it a try, go to www.swiftkey.net/jp and sign up for the beta. It’s freely available to everyone. Don’t forget to leave feedback, and tell us, will you be giving this a try?
