Open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, and you may find something new: a “Shop devices” option.
Google has added it to the account switcher, according to Android Authority, and reports say it’s live only in select markets.
What the New Section Shows
Android Authority found Pixel 10a, Pixel 11 Pro Fold, Pixel Watch 5, and Pixel Buds Pro 2 listed on his own devices when they checked.
No Samsung products appeared for him.
The Galaxy side comes from a tip by Telegram user catat2am, whose screenshots showed the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Ultra beside Google hardware.

However, SamMobile noted that this is live only in select markets.
It’s a Doorway, Not a Checkout
Tapping a device doesn’t buy it inside the Play Store. According to Android Authority, it opens the Google Store, where you configure and pay. The Play Store is acting as a storefront window.
The outlet saw regular prices and no discounts in the new section, and neither article lists a price for any device.
Earlier this year, Galaxy Watch 8 banners in the Play Store carried a $20 discount, so promotions have appeared there before.
So, if your phone still has some life left, you could hold off on upgrading until a discount comes along.
The Samsung Puzzle
The report points out something odd. Google’s support page says the Play Store shows Google and Samsung devices listed on the Google Store, yet Google doesn’t sell Samsung phones on the Google Store.
The page also never mentions a “Shop devices” section by name.
Neither Google nor Samsung has commented, meaning the terms between the two, including any revenue split, are unclear.
